Building Permit Exemptions
Agricultural buildings
Ag Buildings require a zoning permit and must clearly indicate the intended use of the structure. AG buildings, so long as they comply with the description under the PA Code, are not subject to the PA Uniform Construction Code and can be exempt from a building permit.
MDIA requires the following forms be turned in for an AG building.
(3) building drawings
(4) zoning approval
These 3 documents and the zoning application can all be turned in to the township office together.
